Harvest Retail has recruited Lee Slater to its expanding retail team as dealer business manager for Scotland.
Lee has held senior roles within the industry and first joined the sector in 2004 with Tokheim UK. In his new role he will be responsible for looking after existing key strategic accounts and developing new customers in Scotland.
Lee commented: “I have closely followed the success of Harvest Energy across all sectors of the industry, they have always come across as customer focused and having a real understanding of the market and what drives a successful partnership.
“I have taken a particular interest in their retail growth over the past few years. I’m both proud and pleased to have this opportunity to work with them in growing the retail business in Scotland.”
Ian Woodcock, head of retail at Harvest, said: “Lee is a great addition to the team and his passion for fuel retailing is one of his key strengths. He will be ideally placed to grow existing and build new relationships in Scotland.
“At Harvest, we are not just about the look of our forecourts or our logo, we are about our customers, their customers and our people. Lee has that personable and friendly approach that will allow us to continue to grow our business, and help grow our customers businesses.
“Success in this sector is all about building long-lasting, commercially symbiotic relationships and Lee is a great ambassador for the Harvest brand and our customers, existing and new, in Scotland.”
