hoyer petrolog signs new deal

Hoyer Petrolog UK has signed a new fuel distribution agreement with Phillips 66 to deliver commercial and retail fuels on behalf of Phillips 66 from the fuel supplier’s Bramhall Terminal. Operations director at Hoyer Petrolog UK, Allan Davison, said: "This five-year agreement with Phillips 66 provides another important step in Petrolog achieving its strategic growth objectives in the fuels market."

asda plans refused

Plans for a petrol station at an Asda in Lancashire have been refused by the local council. Asda had applied for permission for a four-pump petrol filling station and drive-to-pay kiosk at its supermarket at Rawtenstall in Rossendale. Council planning officers said the development would cause unacceptable harm to the setting of a nearby Conservation Area and listed building.

M&s simply food at peebles bp

A new M&S Simply Food store has opened at the BP site on Innerleithern Road, Peebles. BP district manager Andy Kenney said: "The new store means we will now be open late providing customers with a selected range of Marks & Spencer’s high quality fresh, innovative food alongside the best of BP fuels and Wild Bean Café."

valli to expand in burnley

Top 50 Indie Valli Forecourts has applied for planning permission to build a petrol station and c-store on a former primary school site in Burnley. The Dewsbury-based company has applied for consent for a petrol filling station, including four jet washes and parking for 24 cars.

euro garages’ green light

Top 50 Indie Euro Garages has won planning consent for a knockdown rebuild of Barnes Service Station in Sunderland. A new c-store will be built at the eight fuel pump forecourt, with the Spar store operating 24-hours a day.

ATM raid on bp site

A BP garage at Eaton Socon in Cambridgeshire has suffered major damage after thieves attempted to rip out its cash machine. The raid left one side of the building smashed open.
