Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of over £1,000 worth of fuel from four petrol stations across Suffolk.
The first incident happened at a petrol station in Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, between 4pm and 4.30pm on Saturday 24 August. Two men in a white transit van made off without paying for fuel.
The first offender is described as a white man, of a slim build, had black short hair and was wearing a red top. The second offender is described as a man wearing a grey shirt.
The second incident happened at a petrol station in Goddard Road, Ipswich, at 1.45pm on Sunday 25 August. Three men in a white van, described as all aged between 30 to 35-years-old, stole an amount of fuel.
The third incident happened at a petrol station in Sproughton Road, Ipswich, at approximately 1.50pm on Sunday 25 August. Three men in a white van made off without paying for fuel.
The fourth incident happened at a petrol station along the A140 Road, Coddenham at approximately 1.30pm on Sunday 25 August. A white van drove off without playing for fuel.
Police believe all of these incidents are connected, and related to the theft of a set of number plates from a vehicle in Hawks Mill Street, Needham Market, on Sunday 25 August between 12pm and 2.30pm.
