JTI is warning retailers that a tobacco voucher scam may be coming to your store.

First discovered in mid-March this year, the con leads consumers to believe they have £3 off Benson and Hedges products.

It has been confirmed that the voucher has not been provided by JTI UK, and is not affiliated in any way to the business.

All retailers have been advised to refuse the voucher and to immediately report the incident to the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline

It is also recommended that any CCTV footage of the attempted use should be retained to help any investigation that may be pursued.
