Merseyside Police is appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a petrol station in north Liverpool on Thursday 2nd April.
Shortly after 9.30am, patrols were called to the BP garage on Great Howard Street by staff reporting they had been robbed.
A man had entered the shop armed with a blue-handled knife and threatened two members of staff before stealing a large amount of cash from the till.
He is believed to have then cycled away on a red-coloured mountain bike, turning left onto Great Howard Street and heading away from the city centre.
Patrols and officers with dogs searched for the man and detectives and crime scene investigators spoke to witnesses at the scene and studied CCTV of the incident.
The offender is a described as a white man aged in his late 30s or early 40s, of chubby build and wearing a blue and grey jacket with a hood.
Two members of staff were left upset but otherwise uninjured.
