Enterprise minister Matthew Hancock will take part in a live chat on Twitter next week to discuss plans for Small Business Saturday and answer questions from small business owners.
He will be addressing the background to Small Business Saturday UK, which will take place on December 7, and will be discussing how business owners can get involved on the day to make the most of the event for their company and their community.
The chat will take place at 11am on Thursday October 31 at @SmallBizSatUK and @matthancockmp, enabling people to tweet questions, ideas, and join in the conversations using the hashtag #SmallBizSatUK to get involved.
Small Business Saturday will highlight small business success and encourage consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.
More information on Small Business Saturday, participating retailers and details on promotions and other incentives to ‘shop locally’ can be found on the Small Business Saturday Facebook page.
