The UK’s largest independent petrol station operator, MRH, has acquired Bromsgrove Service Station in Worcestershire for an undisclosed price.
Colliers International represented Top 50 Indie MRH in the purchase of the newly developed filling station on the Birmingham Road from a private vendor.
Anthony Keohane, of the Automotive and Roadside team at Colliers International in Bristol, said: “Bromsgrove Service Station was developed in 2013 and provides a BP branded forecourt with a large SPAR convenience store together with car and jet wash facilities. This acquisition shows that there is a strong demand for high quality filling stations.”
Peter O’Brien, MRH’s property director, said: “MRH is delighted to have secured the freehold interest of this key asset. This confirms our ongoing strategy to acquire prime real estate to enhance our position as the UK’s largest independent operator.”
