Oil distribution company Oil 4 Wales has bought two service stations in south Wales - the Globe Garage in Porthcawl and Maesteg 24/7.
It said the deal was part of expansion plans which have recently seen the company open its sixth depot in Three Cocks, Brecon.
Oil4Wales supplies fuel to more than 30 service stations in Wales as well as domestic customers and other businesses.
Colin Owens, managing director or Oil4 Wales, told Business News Wales: “We have enjoyed a very successful year with new garage signings and the opening of our Brecon depot and we are thrilled to be in such a positive position.
“Our slogan is ‘working with the community, for the community’ and our main aim is to be fair and honest with pricing.
“The addition of Porthcawl and Maesteg garages will enable us to control fuel prices so that the Maesteg and Porthcawl communities receive a good deal.
“Our focus has always been to create a truly Welsh brand that has depots throughout the country to efficiently service the local communities of Wales and we are now well on our way to achieving this aim.”
