Park Garage Group has been nominated for one of the prestigious Lloyds TSB Jewel Awards, an annual event which celebrates Asian business achievement
in the UK. This year the event will also acknowledge the challenges currently facing organisations and encourage discussion on how businesses can survive the current economic downturn.
The event, for the south of England, takes place this Saturday (November 7th) at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
Judges of the awards include Dragon’s Den star James Caan who said this year’s nominees included some of the most impressive and inspiring individuals in the event’s seven-year history. Thousands of entries were received – with Sunil (pictured) and Balraj Tandon, directors at Croydon-based Park Garage Group, nominated for the Retail, Franchise & Food Award.
Kamel Hothi, asian markets director at Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets, said: “This year has been a critical time for many businesses. Even in the face of current economic adversity, the Asian business community continues to set an example, inspiring the way forward and towards a more stable and secure economic future. Much of the Asian business community’s success is due to their cultural and community values, networks and social experiences, which have made them more resilient and supported them throughout."
