Robert Halfon MP is to lead a cross-party Parliamentary debate on fuel duty next month.
Supported by 65 MPs from all three main political parties, Halfon will press for an Office of Fair Trading enquiry into the oil market, as well no further tax on fuel.
Brian Madderson, chairman of the PRA, said: “We are meeting Robert Halfon and his researcher on September 3 and we hope to get a date for the cross-party debate then.”
