Phillips 66 has appointed Mark Todd to the role of manager, national sales for its UK & Ireland marketing division. He takes over the role from Emma McKim, who is moving to an internal role in London.
In his Warwick-based role, Todd will be responsible for bringing on board new customers and strengthening existing relationships with high-volume resellers, group forecourt dealers and supermarkets throughout the UK and Ireland.
Todd has worked in the downstream fuels industry for over 26 years, spanning business-to-business, business to consumer, and national and international business development roles for Mobil/BP, Morrisons and, more recently, the oil product logistics company CLH-PS.
Mary Wolf, managing director of Phillips 66 UK & Ireland Marketing, commented: “Mark’s extensive industry knowledge and in-depth understanding of fuel market will be a real asset to our company. Mark is ambitious and, coming from outside the business, is well-placed to take on the challenge of increasing our market share and identifying new market opportunities. We are delighted to welcome Mark to the team here at Warwick.”
Todd added: “Over the years I’ve come to know Phillips 66 well and have long admired the company’s customer-centric values and ability to really listen to their customers. I respect their ethos and brand values, which are among the best in the industry and will play an important role in expanding our share of the wholesale and retail market.
“I’ve inherited a very experienced, empowered and responsive team and look forward to strengthening this team in the future, to the benefit of the company, our customers and our business partners alike.”
As national sales manager, Todd will report directly to Mary Wolf and will lead a team of nine sales staff.
