West Yorkshire Police yesterday (April 12) appealed for witnesses, and released CCTV pictures, in relation to a robbery at a petrol station on Pontefract Road, Stourton, Leeds, which took place on Sunday March 20.
The incident happened between 4.15am and 04.20am when two men went into the store and threatened a member of staff before taking cash and cigarettes from behind the till. They then made off across the forecourt and out of the area.
Officers want to speak to two men in connection with the incident. One is described as wearing dark clothing with a motif on the left breast of the jacket top. The second male is described as wearing grey clothing with distinctive tracksuit bottoms with a dark navy stripe. Both were wearing hooded tops.
DC Clare Fisher of Leeds CID, said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or who saw two males in the area around the times stated to get in contact.”
