Thames Valley Police has issued a CCTV picture of a man it would like to speak to in connection with a robbery at a petrol station in Reading on Wednesday July 2.
At about 10.15pm a shop assistant was closing the Shell garage in George Street, when a man threatened him with a knife and demanded cash.
The offender hit the assistant, causing a minor injury to his head, and made off on foot after stealing cash and groceries.
The investigating officer, detective constable Steve Martin, said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and might have seen the man in the CCTV dressed in distinctive clothing leaving the petrol station. We would urge anyone who has any information to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
If you have any information contact detective constable Martin via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
