Detectives are appealing for information to trace a man wanted in connection with a series of robberies across the West Midlands.

Gavin Reilly is wanted following a number of crimes at shops and petrol stations in the Black Country where cigarettes have been stolen.

Officers are investigating the offences which happened between September 2013 and January this year and want to question the 34-year-old about them.

Detective Sergeant Toby Davis, who is leading the investigation, said: “We think Reilly is somewhere in the local area and is known to frequent the Bradley, Bilston, Tipton and Gornal areas.

“If you have seen him or can help our investigation we would ask you to get in touch as soon as possible. Members of the public are advised not to approach him but to contact police if they see him.”

Anyone with any information his whereabouts should contact Force CID by calling 999 or 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
