Police are hunting for a gang which is believed to be behind a series of early morning forecourt and supermarket raids across Doncaster.
According to The Star, the latest took place early on June 10 at the Tesco Extra superstore in Balby.
The forecourt shop was attacked just before 2.45am when intruders smashed through a glass door to get in. Once inside they went for the cigarettes and took away what was described as a ‘substantial’ quantity.
Police have been checking CCTV images and are apparently looking for two men in a black Vauxhall Vectra. They believe the crime may be linked to burglaries at supermarkets in Sprotbrough and Bawtry last month.
