The Petrol Retailers’ Association (PRA) aims to strengthen its lobbying role and introduce a range of new initiatives as it

 

continues in its role as the main representative voice of the sector. This includes bolstering its benefits package with the introduction of exclusively tailored financial products.

Last month the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF) reaffirmed its full commitment to the growth and development of the PRA following a full strategic review. RMIF chief executive Rob Foulston said: "Membership has increased in recent weeks, demonstrating the need for a strong trade association in difficult times, and we are welcoming all sectors of the petrol retailing community into membership and onto the executive."

Meanwhile, Ray Holloway is retiring from his role as PRA director after ten years with the association.
