Premier, the symbol group backed by Booker Wholesale, has been crowned the Best Forecourt Retailer at the CTP Awards 2014.
The awards are organised by Him Research & Consulting, and decided on insight and opinions from 20,000 members of the public canvassed by Him.
The event was held at the Royal Maritime Museum in Greenwich on Thursday May 15.
Another forecourt winner was BP Simply Food, which won the Best Food-to-go Convenience Retailer award.
Nisa was crowned Overall Best Convenience Retailer, Best Symbol Retailer and Best BWS Convenience Retailer.
Scotmid Co-operative picked up the Best Top-up Convenience Retailer award, and the Best for Services Convenience Retailer award was presented to McColl’s Retail Group
Central England Co-operative scooped the Best Chilled & Dairy Convenience Retailer, Best Impulse Convenience Retailer and Best Managed Retailer awards.
Kwiksave was presented with the Best Convenience Retailer for Local Community Support award, and Today’s won the Best Convenience Retailer for Availability award.
SPAR was Best Convenience Retailer for Communication & Engagement, and Lifestyle Express won the Best Convenience Retailer for Customer Service award.
One award, for Best Convenience Retailer for Staff Training & Development, was based on votes from retailers’ staff and was won by Premier.
Mondelēz International won the award for Best Supplier for Salesforce Effectiveness as voted for by retailers.
