Rontec’s Shop’ N Drive chain is aiming to raise up to £1m for the national sight loss charity RNIB after it chose it as its first-ever charity of the year.
The money will be raised by customers, in a scheme which allows them to ’top up’ their credit or debit card transaction.
The Top 50 Indies’ 160 Shop’ N Drive stores give motorists the option to make a 25p donation when paying. So far more than £100,000 has been raised as part of the ’Round it Up’ appeal which is being delivered by ’digital charity box’ Pennies.
