Ram raiders punched a large hole into the side of a forecourt shop in Suffolk during the early hours of the morning on October 4.
Police are appealing for information following the incident at the Jet-branded Potters filling station in Station Road, Framlingham, which was closed at the time.
Officers were called just before 12:30am to reports of an alarm sounding at the petrol station and a car driving off at high speed.
At the scene they found a black Mercedes car had been reversed at speed into a side wall of the station shop, causing a large hole. The ram raiders had entered through the hole and stolen cigarettes and tobacco before making off in another vehicle.
The ram raid is being linked to a burglary at a property in Burstall on the evening of Thursday 3 October where a black Mercedes and a black Audi were stolen from the driveway.
The black Audi was reported alight in Copdock by the fire service at around 1:15am.
Anyone who has any information in relation to either incident or who may have seen the vehicles at any time during the evening is asked to contact Leiston CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
