Motorway Service Area (MSA) operator Roadchef has opened a new motorway Drive-Thru Costa at its Northampton South site.
The £500,000 development on the M1, located at junction 15A, adds to the range of services already on offer at Northampton South, which includes a sit-in Costa, McDonald’s, WH Smith, and Fresh Food Café.
The new Drive-Thru offers customers on-the-move the opportunity to buy a fresh Costa coffee without leaving their car, as well as a full range of sandwiches, cakes and snacks.
Kersh Van Laar, site director for Northampton, said: “The new Drive-Thru Costa really complements our current offering at Northampton South with customers having a wider range of choice than ever before. It provides motorists with the convenience being able to make a quick stop-off and enjoy a delicious Costa coffee on the go.”
Simon Turl, CEO of Roadchef, added: “We are delighted to announce the extension of our partnership with Costa Coffee, strengthening our position as one of the leading motorway service area operators in the country. This new drive-thru facility reinforces our investment in the Northampton area, which is a key site for the business and we’re proud to be able to offer our customers this on-the-go option.”
