If being held up at gunpoint and shot was not bad enough, one unlucky teenager working at a petrol station in the US was then locked up by the thugs while they worked his shift.

Three men in south-west Philadelphia robbed a Philadelphia Hess filling station at gunpoint, but were apparently unhappy with the amount of money in the till, police said.

After shooting the store’s 18-year-old assistant, inflicting a graze wound, and locking him in a bathroom, the trio then sold fuel for several hours, sometimes at discounted rates, and kept the money.

“Ín my career, that’s the first time I’ve seen or heard something like this occur,” Philadelphia Police lieutenant John Walker told Philadelphia CBS. “Obviously, they didn’t feel like they got enough money so they’re going to sit there, take control of the business, offer gas at a discounted price … It’s just bizarre.”
