Sainsbury’s has announced that from today until Wednesday 4h September, customers who spend £60 or more in store will receive a coupon entitling them to 10p off each litre of fuel when they fill up at one of the retailer’s 285 forecourts.
Customers who order their groceries online with Sainsbury’s will receive a coupon with their delivery. Coupons will be valid for 14 days from issue.
Sainsbury’s will publicise the latest offer with a major campaign in the national press, on TV and online, and with in-store promotions. The retailer said it had timed the offer to coincide with the end of the summer holidays, a time when families prepare for the new school year.
Richard Crampton, Sainsbury’s head of fuel, said: “We know that families use the end of the summer holidays to prepare for the new school year and we’re committed to helping them balance their budgets wherever we can.
“We know the summer holidays can be expensive for our customers so we’re delighted to be able to help their budgets go further over the next few weeks.”
