In the run-up to the Rumble on the Humber boxing match, which is the eliminator for the WBC World Lightweight title, local retailer Sewell on the go is asking customers to show support for local boxer Tommy Coyle with a coffee ‘selfie’ campaign.

From Tuesday, 7th of July, the campaign allows fans to show their support by purchasing a Costa coffee with a branded sleeve, at any of the 12 fuel and convenience stores across Hull. Customers will be encouraged to tweet a photograph, or selfie and post it on their personal Facebook or Twitter account using hashtag #teamcoyle.

Patrick Sewell, managing director of Sewell on the go, explained the creative and fun way for customers to show their support.

He said: “With the increase use of social media, we knew people are following and supporting both boxers. As a local independent business, it’s great to be able to support Tommy, someone who is also giving back to his community.”

Selfies will be shared across Sewell on the go social media platforms and displayed at www.sewellonthego.co.uk in the lead up to the fight on August 1. 1st prize winner will receive two tickets to the fight, 2nd place will receive a winning a pair of autographed boxer gloves from Tommy Coyle and 3rd place will receive a Sewell on the go hamper worth £50.

Tommy Coyle said: “It feels great to have Sewell on the go supporting me. I look forward to seeing all the fans ‘selfies’ across Twitter before the big night.”
