Shell has boosted its involvement in the electric vehicle market by signing off an agreement with charging network operator IONITY to offer charge points across 10 European countries, starting with 80 of its biggest sites.

IONITY is a joint venture between BMW Group, Daimler AG, Ford Motor Company and the Volkswagen Group, Audi and Porsche.
