Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a petrol station in Norwich.

Police were called to the incident on Middletons Lane on Friday 18 March at around 3.45am after an unknown number of suspects smashed a stolen car into the shop to force entry and stole a quantity of cigarettes.

Officers are linking the incident to the theft of a grey Audi A4 from an address in Copenhagen Way, Norwich, which occurred sometime between 10pm on Thursday 17 March and 6.55am on Friday 18 March. It is believed that the vehicle was used in the burglary.
