Texaco’s commitment to safety has been recognised by the Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) with an award for its UK dry goods distribution centre in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
The bronze award for safety awareness, incident investigation and corrective action follows a concerted effort by staff and management at Lutterworth to introduce new safety initiatives, in line with Texaco’s focus on increasing safety across all its operations.
Malcolm Seedhouse, manager of Texaco’s distribution in Europe, said: “This achievement proves that with focus and determination we can make a difference. I would like to congratulate the team on their tremendous effort and achievement.”
