Planning documents have revealed that Top 50 Indie The Kay Group wants to add a Greggs to its Shell forecourt in Nelson, Lancs.
The planning process is being instigated by the bakery chain rather than Kay. If approved, the project will see the Junction 13 site, which sits just off the M65 east of Blackburn, offer a Greggs in addition to the Subway concession it already features.
New signage will be added to the shopfront advertising the existence of a Greggs, while two air-conditioning condensers and an extractor-fan setup will also be installed.
Should the project get the go ahead, the Greggs will open from 6:30am to 6pm, save for Sundays when 8am to 4pm opening times would be in operation.
The Kay Group operates 25 forecourts, and last year turned over £232m.
