Staff at Topaz, the Irish service station and convenience retailer, have scooped two of Ireland’s top sales awards.
The Dealer Team, and dealer business manager Jonathan Diver, were winners at the Irish Sales Champion awards, which took place recently at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Diver picked up one of the key individual awards on the night – Champion Field Sales Manager of the Year 2013 – while the Dealer Team won the Best Sales Training Programme Award. Overall, Topaz received nominations in five categories.
Commenting on the awards, Topaz director of retail sales Frank Gleeson said: “I’d like to offer my congratulations to Jonathan and to the men and women in the Dealer Team for bringing these prestigious awards to Topaz.
“Jonathan is an example of the quality of management we have in Topaz whose priority is providing an exceptional level of service and commitment to all of our customers. The Dealer Team received their award for their dedication to driving sales and services throughout the entire network and for the support they provide to all of our customers”.
The ISC Awards are intended to celebrate the competitive spirit, ingenuity and tenacity of Irish sales personnel on the front line. The awards are in three sales functions: sales consultants/representatives; behind the scenes sales support; and technology/sales tools providers.
Topaz is the largest service station and convenience retailer in Ireland employing 1,600 people. It has 330 sites and 120 of them are company owned.
