Walkers is introducing an evening snacking three-case stacker - a merchandising unit containing 99p price-marked packs of Sensations and Doritos. The stacker will contain Sensations Thai sweet chilli, Doritos tangy cheese and Sensations chicken with lemon & thyme, and is designed to help retailers make the most of the increased demand for big bags at Christmas time.

Walkers introduced the three-case stacker - available through Booker, Bestway, Landmark, Key, Sugro and Batleys after research revealed that retailers were unsure how to maximise sales of new products and limited editions.

When Doritos pricemarked packs were introduced last year, sales increased by 64.3%, according to PepsiCo trade marketing manager Cara Beeby: "New products and limited editions aren’t always visible on the main crisps and snacks fixture. The stackers not only draw attention to the product with recognisable branding, but they can also be placed in areas of high traffic to maximise visibility."
