The sun is set to be shining this weekend and to help shoppers get into the spirit of summer, Nisa retailers are offering up a range of offers across licensed stores.
With stay-at-home occasions on the rise and consumers looking to save on spending where they can, Nisa says its value deals will help retailers drive sales during the quieter shopping month of July.
Some of the classic summertime tipples on promotion include Corte Molino Prosecco 75cl at £7.50, Pimm’s 70cl at £13.50, Beefeater London Peach & Raspberry Gin 70cl at £15, and Magners Original Cider 10x440ml and Peroni Nastro Azzurro 10x330ml at just £10 each.
“This summer people will have the freedom to enjoy barbecues, picnics and garden gatherings – all occasions in which alcohol, soft drinks and food will be part of the mix,” says wholesale category controller for licensed at Nisa, Danielle Sylvester.
“Rising cost of living isn’t showing any signs of slowing down any time soon, and so a lot of consumers are extremely conscious of their outgoings. And with many opting to stay home this summer and socialise from the comfort of their back gardens, having a varied and promotion-filled licensed offer is key for independent retailers,” she adds.
