Be.EV is using Rapleys to find it more sites

Be.EV has instructed Rapleys to find a number of sites across the UK as it looks to expand its national network in the short, medium and longer term.

Rapleys will identify and acquire sites such as drive-thru and fast food/restaurant car parking, retail parks and other locations with heavy traffic and strong vehicle movement for fully-funded EV charging infrastructure installation.

Priority areas include London and the South East, Birmingham and the West Midlands, and the South Coast, with other targets in the East Midlands, South Wales and the M4 corridor, as well as Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool.

The appointment follows the recruitment of Joshua Klepper as an associate partner in Rapleys’ commercial agency team, part of its commercial division, from Cluttons. Klepper has over 10 years’ experience in agency with a strong background in connectivity and EVs in particular.

Daniel Cook, head of automotive, roadside and future fuels at Rapleys, says: “Be.EV is a leading chargepoint operator and we are delighted to be partnering with them to accelerate their growth across the UK. Our automotive, roadside and future fuels business has been a core sector for Rapleys for many years now and we keep going from strength to strength. We added an expanded ‘Future Fuels’ service last year having anticipated client demands to embed this specific service into the business. We are now working with leading brands to help them grow their coverage in the sector and Joshua is a very welcome addition to the team with his background in connectivity and EVs in particular.”

Klepper says: “Rapleys is one of the market leaders in the automotive sector and I am delighted to play a part in its future growth story and to bring relationships across to benefit from their wider lifecycle offering, including agency to professional, building, development and planning services. The breadth of client projects underpins their position as the go-to advisor in the industry.”
