Motor Fuel Group (MFG) is claiming to be ”the first official retailer” to offer the Costa Express product range via the Uber Eats app.
The new service is being offered from today (June 1). Costa Express can already be found in the majority of the Top 50 Indie’s circa 900 forecourts, but now favourites from a Mocha and Latte to a Hot Chocolate and Cappuccino can be delivered straight to the front door of customers ordering from MFG.
Steve Fox, managing director of retail at MFG, said: “MFG is delighted to be the first official retailer to launch a Costa Express offer onto our Uber Eats platform, across over 550 of our branded sites nationally. We pride ourselves on not only serving the motorist but also on being a leading convenience retailer and this is a great way for us to meet consumer needs by adding hot coffee to the Uber Eats basket.”
MFG is already host to some of the country’s leading retailers including Greggs, Londis, Subway, Budgens and Costa. Last month it agreed a partnership with Pret A Manger that will see the brand feature on a forecourt for the first time.
