A Wolverhampton man who stole a total of £674.80-worth of fuel has been jailed for 12 weeks.

According to the Express & Star, 29-year-old David Lee admitted to driving without a licence or insurance along with four charges of driving off without payment, and asked for a further seven to be taken into account.

He also admitted stealing £340 from the till of the Gala Bingo hall in Wednesfield.

He was sentenced to 12 weeks for the bilking and 12 weeks for the theft at the bingo hall.

An extra two weeks was added to his sentence because he had failed to show up for a previous court hearing. He was also disqualified from driving for a year.
