New SIX500 packaging claims to unlock the full potential of accelerater ovens

A new type of packaging called SIX500 has been launched in the UK, which the distributor says will enable forecourt operators using an accelerated oven to offer a much wider range of food to go.

Marren Microwave says SIX500 is the only packaging that can withstand temperatures of 525°F for up to six minutes while also being fully EU compliant. It says the integrity of the packaging unlocks the full potential of accelerated cooking technology by providing: shorter cooking times for a more efficient operation; optimal moisture and heat resistance; a custom laminated food contact surface for clean, easy release of food once cooked; and it is quick to cool down for staff and customers. The packaging is currently available in four different series bowl, entrée, side and pan in a range of sizes.
