A teenage girl has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at Sainsbury’s petrol station in Kidderminster.

It happened at about 11.30pm on Wednesday, 8th January, in Carpet Trades Way, as staff were cashing up.

Three masked offenders, armed with a crowbar, forced their way in through a rear door and demanded money. They tried to open the safe but were unable to do so and left empty handed.

One of the men was wearing a ski mask and a hat across his face, and had on distinctive luminous gloves. A second man was wearing a devil mask.

A 17-year-old girl was arrested on Sunday, 12th January, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
