Drivers using Instavolt EV chargers can now pay for electricity using the Zapmap smartphone app or payment card.
The agreement means Instavolt’s 900 locations join 80,000 charging bays and over 50 chargepoint operators that allow drivers to pay for charging sessions via Zapmap, with MFG, Fastned, Osprey and Ionity all signed up to the service.
Delvin Lane, Instavolt’s chief executive comments: “Adding Zapmap as another way to pay across our network gives drivers even more choice, making it easier to access reliable, high-powered charging wherever their journey takes them.”
Zapmap’s co-founder and chief operating officer, Melanie Shuflebotham, calls Instavolt “one of the pioneers in the sector”, adding her company is “delighted to build on our long-standing relationship” with the operator.
