Jet has announced a series of new deals with forecourts in the East of England, with four of these being signed by forecourt operators who previously took fuel from defunct suppliers Prax, and Harvest Energy.

Jet saw 19 new sites join the network last year and has announced four more forecourts have committed to take Jet fuel and branding, with a further two sites re-signing.

Bourne Bridge Service Station in Ipswich, operated by D Cannon, joined Jet on April 1 having previously been a Harvest site, while K&S Fuels’ Harlow Service Station and Epping Service Station have committed to Jet after being left without a regular supplier following the demise of Prax, which went into administration last year alongside the Lindsey oil refinery.

Fordham Service Station, meanwhile, is a new-to-Jet site owned by brothers-in-law operators, Siva Kumarasamy and Vijai Sakthivel, who between them also own Starthill Service Station in Rochford and North Terrace forecourt in Bury St Edmunds, with these sites re-signing.

The Phillips 66-owned fuel-retail brand now has 336 UK sites, with 325 of these being dealer owned and operated forecourts, and the remaining 11 being company-owned, company operated, including its flagship Jet Wheatley Hill forecourt in County Durham, which recently underwent a £4m knockdown rebuild.

Phillips 66’s retail account manager, UK marketing, Naina Patel, says of the six new contracts: “What links these sites to Jet is a shared belief in meaningful relationships. It’s about listening, understanding what matters to our dealers and responding in a way that supports their business and their customers.”
