Jet has unveiled the first of a raft of initiatives to celebrate the brand’s 60th anniversary in 2014. From Monday, November 25 until Friday December 20, hundreds of Jet forecourts nationwide will participate in
Jet’s 1954 Free Prize Draw. Every time customers fill up with a minimum £30 fuel spend at participating forecourts, they can enter the prize draw to win £5,000 of free fuel. In total, Jet will give away 14 JetCards, each pre-loaded with £5,000 of fuel.
Pete George, managing director of Phillips 66 UK & Ireland Marketing, comments: “2014 marks our diamond anniversary – 60 years since Jet opened its first petrol forecourt in Yorkshire. This is a real milestone for us as a company and an achievement that we are very proud of.
“2014 is going to be an exciting year for Jet – we’re planning lots of initiatives and customer promotions to celebrate and see the 1954 Free Prize Draw as a great way to kick start our celebrations. We wanted to mark six decades of Jet forecourts fuelling local communities throughout the UK and thank our customers for their continued support. But it’s also a way of thanking our dealers and demonstrates Jet’s commitment to driving up forecourt footfall for our network.”
The promotion will be supported by point-of-sale material, radio and print advertising in certain regions and PR support – all of which will be funded by Jet on behalf of its dealers.
Last month Jet announced its ambitious plans to increase its dealer network by a minimum of 30% by 2018, so 2014 will be an important year as the company starts to implement its growth strategy to achieve this target.
