Sunday Times namecheck follows Moto boss winning CEO award

Motorway services firm Moto Hospitality has been named in the Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work rundown for the third consecutive year.

The paper recognised the firm in its Very Big Companies category, noting that regular surveys of Moto’s 6,348 staff contribute to employee engagement and that the workers can get discounts of up to 60% across its network of 70 sites, alongside a smartphone app to support good mental and physical health.

Ken McMeikan, Moto’s chief executive officer, who was recently named CEO of the year at the British Business awards, commented: “Being recognised as a Top 10 Best Place to Work for the third year running is a fantastic achievement, and a true reflection of how our colleagues feel about working at Moto.

“We are transforming the UK’s rest stop experience for millions of drivers, and that starts with an engaged, motivated team. I’m incredibly proud of our colleagues and what we have built together.”
