An independent forecourt in the North East of England has become the location for Nisa-Today’s first ever TV advert.
The Total-branded forecourt’s Nisa-branded convenience store in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, features in the £1.3m campaign that will be screened until February 6.
The advertising campaign, which runs alongside a new trade marketing campaign, follows the launch of Nisa’s new brand positioning and redesigned corporate logo, focusing on its ’Making a difference locally’ strapline.
Neil Turton, chief executive officer at Nisa-Today’s, said: "We feel confident that our new marketing campaigns put us in a strong position to not only drive further sales growth through existing members, but to also drive recruitment of new independent retailers and in doing so grow our business as a whole."
John Stevenson, who runs the forecourt featured in the TV ad, said: "I’m expecting the promotions advertised to drive footfall into the store. We’re a brand new Nisa store in the area. I have put a banner on the forecourt and am doing some local press activity to make sure people know it’s our store in the advert."
Nisa-Today’s currently delivers to 3,500 stores, 1,500 of which are Costcutters. Of the remaining 2,000 stores, there are 350 Nisa-branded forecourt stores. The wholesaler hopes to add 200 more stores this year, 25% of which are expected to be on forecourts.
