Palmer and Harvey has teamed up with Britvic and Walkers to offer its symbol retailers a meal deal offer to increase average basket spend and drive customer loyalty.
The deal offered to shoppers comprises any stocked Britvic drink brand including Pepsi, 7up, Drench and Tropicana, along with any flavour of Walkers crisps and a sandwich brand of the retailer’s choice for a price of between £3.49 and £3.99.
Simon Harris, brand development manager at Palmer and Harvey, said: “Shoppers are always on the look-out for great value for money. By offering these meal deals at a price below £4 we are giving independent retailers the platform to challenge the multiples in price as well as on quality. It’s a great offer which will drive footfall and enhance customer loyalty.”
To promote the deal retailers are being offered a free point-of-sale kit including shelf strips, barkers, bus stops and posters when purchasing the core lines.
Retailers will also be offered a free allocation of stock (free case of either Pepsi Reg/Diet/Max, Tropicana or 7UP Free/Reg 24 x 500/600ml and a box of Walkers standard 32.5g x 48, every 12 weeks) if the point-of-sale kit is displayed and the meal deal is being run on each visit as part of the PREP scheme.
