Tokheim, famous for its achievements in the fuel-retailing sector, has announced that it is launching a range of new products and speciality services for the commercial fleet marketplace. A
multimillion-euro investment in research and development plus a new dedicated team of commercial experts will now provide specialist products and services worldwide. The new suite of products, called DiaLOG, has been designed with commercial fleet customers in mind; these include transport and bus companies as well as the emergency services.
Remco Rengers, business development manager commercial fleet, says, “In the world of retail petrol stations, Tokheim is well known for delivering and maintaining high quality petrol dispensers, POS and payment solutions. Building upon this experience, we will now also offer turnkey solutions for the commercial fleet sector. Although we have strong experience at a local level, it is the first time that Tokheim has launched a true Europe-wide range of products and services specifically tailored for commercial fleet. Our new model also benefits from the synergies with our pan-European maintenance, service and construction network.”
DiaLOG is at the heart of Tokheim’s commercial solution. Leveraging Tokheim’s knowledge in payment and security, DiaLOG is set to become one of the most advanced fuel management systems in the sector. It provides improved benefits to customers through scalable options, industry-renowned quality plus the back-up of the world’s largest service and maintenance network in the industry. Easy-to-use software allows clients to manage their fuel effortlessly. Additional features include the popular vehicle identification solution, SmartFuel, which is designed for fleet and transport companies wishing to reduce fuel loss and improve their overall efficiency.
The DiaLOG product range includes fuel dispensers; seen as some of the most advanced in a sector that is typically supplied by smaller, local pump manufacturers. The components include Tokheim’s core pump, meter and calculator platforms as standard – these are the same products that provide proven and trusted accuracy to the world’s largest oil companies. Alongside its offering of a range of diesel dispensers, Tokheim also provides solutions for alternative fuels such as biofuels, LPG and CNG. The company completes its dispenser suite through a range of AdBlue dispensers and containers that are fully compliant with the very stringent quality requirements set by ISO 22241.
Jean Chikly, Tokheim Dispensers GM, says that it is not just systems and dispensers that Tokheim will be providing, and he outlines that a large investment has taken place in people and services. He says, “We already have a very strong team of project managers globally in Tokheim. We have added additional expertise to our local divisions to ensure that customers can have full peace of mind when choosing Tokheim for turnkey commercial fleet projects. The DiaLOG software and dispenser products also benefit from a wealth of expertise in our European manufacturing plants and software development centres – it’s an excellent fit.”
Tokheim has over 2,700 technicians across Europe. Several hundred DiaLOG systems have now been installed globally with hundreds of buses and coaches utilising Tokheim’s vehicle identification system, SmartFuel.
