The deal forms part of Wash.Me’s ambitious expansion plans for the year

Laundrette firm Wash.Me has signed a deal with Asda for the “large-scale roll-out” of its machines at Asda supermarkets and forecourts.

The aim of the project is to put 700 Wash.Me machines in at Asda sites, including petrol stations, with the deal targeting “attractive, high-footfall locations”.

The partnership marks a major milestone in Wash.Me’s UK expansion plans. The firm currently has over 1,500 machines operating in the UK and Ireland, and plans to add 1,300 to its global network this financial year.

Vladimir Crasneanscki, deputy chief executive officer of Wash.Me’s parent company, ME Group, describeds Asda as the “perfect company to partner with”, as its “retail and petrol stations are excellent locations for our services and their innovative and fast-paced approach will enable us to deploy our units rapidly”.

Joseph Sutton, vice president Asda Express, foodservice and fuel, comments:

“We’re pleased to be working with ME Group on this significant partnership and look forward to seeing the benefits it brings to customers across the UK.”
