Next month will see the relaunch of Wrigley’s Extra Ice peppermint and spearmint gum to include micro-granules, product speckles and xylitol. The changes are designed to give a pleasant ’in-mouth sensation’ and help prevent plaque.
In addition, an Extra Ice white variant will be added to the range which has been scientifically proven to help remove stains and maintain teeth’s natural whiteness. All three Extra Ice variants will come in 10-pellet packs with a rrp of 46p. The activity will be supported by extensive product sampling and point-of-sale material.
Wrigley’s sales director, Duncan McCulloch, expects the range to add value to the category.
