Gillette is expanding its shave care range with the launch of four new products: a pre-shave scrub; two after shave balms and a moisturiser.

Brand owner Procter & Gamble says the new lines use "advanced scientific formulas to provide the ultimate pre and after shave experience". The thermal scrub, for example, uses special technology to heat up the hairs on the face, making it easier to clean and soften the shaving area. Recommended retail prices are £6.99 for the scrub and balms, and £7.99 for the moisturiser. A multi-media campaign will back the launch including TV, online and print advertising as well as nationwide sampling. According to TNS figures, the Gillette skin care range has a 10% value share of the market already just one year since its launch.
