New Carabao Sport drink is available in two fruity flavours: Orange and Mixed Berry.
Designed to aid hydration, the carbohydrate-electrolyte drink has added B vitamins and is formulated with nature colours and flavours. It contains only 4.4g of sugar/100ml and 113 calories per 500ml bottle, which comes with a sports cap, for easy hydration while on-the-go.
Carabao says the launch of Sport follows new consumer research which reveals that 60% of regular isotonic sports drink drinkers who exercise weekly are very concerned about the presence of aspartame in sport drinks. It says Carabao Sport will appeal to the consumer demand for more natural category solutions as it contains no aspartame.
John Luck, chief marketing officer at Carabao has said: “Carabao Sport includes the carbohydrates and electrolytes required to support prolonged exercise that you would expect to find in a sports drink, but it is our unique combination of aspartame free, added B vitamins, 100% natural colours and flavours and fantastic flavour that makes our drink special.
