Peperami Pizza Buns have been launched to cash in on demand for chilled meat snacks.
The new ready-to-eat Pizza Buns are described as “mess-free and full of flavour” and ideal for consumers to enjoy on-the-go or as a lunchtime snack.
Filled with salami, cheese and tomato herb sauce, they contain more than 10g of protein and the buns make them a more filling snack than the original salami product.
There are two flavours: Original and Hot, with both available in singles (75g, rrp £1.50) and multipacks (four x 40g , rrp £2.75) with each packed in cases of eight, with five months’ shelf life.
Peperami’s head of marketing Emily Prince said: “This exciting new launch will significantly contribute to meat snacking’s category growth, as more and more shoppers seek out unique high-protein snacks that are really tasty, filling and fun to eat.
