Jenny Wren, the Kentish chocolate firm, has introduced its first Christmas box for what it calls the “neglected” sub-£10 gifting category.
The Christmas Collection features 12 hand-finished Belgian chocolates and truffles – including Fleur de Sel caramel, raspberry yoghurt and white mocha.
The launch coincides with Jenny Wren being the only independent chocolate to feature in Palmer & Harvey’s Christmas catalogue, and since its launch in July 2016 the company has built up a base of more than 400 independent stockists across the UK.
Mike Stainfield, managing director of Jenny Wren, said: “We all know that giving and sharing chocolates at Christmas is a huge opportunity – but mid-range is poorly served and that’s where we slot in.
“We make the only chocolate gift boxes that you can buy for under £10 and still get a ‘wow!’ from the recipient. Add in some quality Belgian chocolates – and given the success of our existing gift box – and we’ve no doubt that this will prove a big hit at Christmas.”
The 12 chocolate 170g Christmas Collection has an RSP of £7.99 RSP/170g, and is available via Palmer & Harvey as well as direct from Jenny Wren.
