Ferrero is tapping into the £1.15bn sharing bag opportunity this spring with the launch of Kinder Bueno Mini (MRSP: £2.00); the classic Kinder Bueno in bite-sized, individually wrapped portions.
The Kinder Bueno Mini sharing bag includes 16 individually wrapped bite-sized versions of the classic Kinder Bueno – with its hazelnut filling, encased in a crispy wafer and milk chocolate coating – giving shoppers the opportunity to enjoy the product as a treat with family and friends.
Levi Boorer, customer development director at Ferrero, commented: “The adult impulse category in the UK is experiencing strong growth and makes up 20% of the total confectionery market. We anticipate Kinder Bueno Mini to drive this growth even further – expanding into different occasions, we can bring new shoppers into the category and allow our existing loyal consumers the opportunity to try a bit of different from a brand they already know and trust.”
