Leading chilled meat snack brand, Peperami recently added to its growing portfolio of products with the launch of Chorizo five-packs.
The consumer taste-tested Chorizo variety is made with 100% pork, packed with protein, and is unpasteurised to maintain its fuller flavour, providing a shelf life of over six months.
Diversification has helped Peperami retain its leading position in the chilled meat snack sector and it continues to enjoy double-digit growth (+18% year-to-date according to Nielsen figures).
Another example of NPD is Vegerami Chick’nless Bites, launched to meet the demand for meat-free options. High in plant protein (from peas), the product aims to meet a gap in the market for a great tasting meat free snack that appeals to both flexitarians and vegetarians. A 40g single pack contains less than 134 calories per portion.
Also available are Peperami’s Chicken Bites in Pep’d Up and Smokin’ flavours, which have driven over 80% incremental sales to the branded chicken snacks sub-category.
Meanwhile, Peperami offers price-marked packs for its popular single sticks in Original, Hot and Firestick, all priced at £1.
